1. Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of thelook-uk.co.uk and any purchases made through our store. By placing an order, you agree to these terms in full. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

The Look is a UK-based online retailer specialising in contemporary and modern homewares, including bespoke and made-to-order items, serving customers in the UK, EU, and internationally.

2. Products & Availability

We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or modify product descriptions at any time. All product images are for illustrative purposes and may vary slightly from the item received.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and are inclusive of any applicable UK VAT where required. We accept all major payment methods available at checkout. We reserve the right to cancel any order where a pricing error has occurred.

4. Orders & Processing

Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. Orders are processed within 1–3 business days. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or circumstances beyond our control. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for full details, including rates and international delivery information.

6. EU & International Orders — Duties & Taxes

For orders delivered outside the UK, you (the customer) are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by your country. These are not included in the price paid at checkout. Refused deliveries due to unpaid duties are not eligible for a shipping refund.

7. Returns & Refunds

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Please note that bespoke and made-to-order items are non-returnable and non-refundable, as these are made specifically to your individual specifications. This is in accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which provides an exemption for goods made to a consumer's bespoke requirements.

For all other items, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and we will do our best to resolve the issue. Returns are accepted subject to our Returns & Refund Policy.

If an item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence and we will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Look shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the order in question.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including images, text, and branding — is the property of The Look and may not be reproduced without written permission.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
